Week 1 of the college football season is in the books, and several of the AP Top 25 teams found some success on Saturday.

No. 1 Alabama re-affirmed their status as the top team in college football Saturday, rolling past No. 21 Utah State 55-0 in Tuscaloosa.

No. 2 Georgia was not as sharp as the Crimson Tide, but they still took care of business against No. 12 Oregon in Atlanta, winning 49-3.

No. 3 Ohio State was also impressive as they cruised by FCS opponent Ball State 54-10.

No. 4 Clemson was pushed to the limit at home by ACC foe Georgia Tech, but they ultimately held on for a 52-21 victory.

No. 5 Notre Dame made a statement in Columbus, Ohio, upsetting No. 2 Ohio State 21-10.

No. 6 Texas A&M lost to Appalachian State 17-14 on the road, making it one of the most shocking upsets in recent college football history.

No. 7 Michigan was unable to play their scheduled game against Colorado due to weather.

No. 8 Utah started their season off with a 29-26 road win over Florida in the Swamp.
