Early Life and Education

Jim Jordan was born on February 17, 1964, in Troy, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Ohio State University in 1986 and a Juris Doctor degree from the Capital University Law School in 1994.

Political Career

Jordan entered politics in 2000 when he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives. He served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, he was elected to the United States House of Representatives to represent Ohio's 4th congressional district.

Jordan is a member of the Republican Party and is considered a conservative. He is known for his strong stance on immigration, gun rights, and religious freedom. He has also been an outspoken critic of the Affordable Care Act and the Obama administration.

Wrestling Background

Before entering politics, Jordan was a successful wrestler. He was a two-time NCAA Division I champion at Ohio State University and a three-time All-American.
